Meet the Founders

Two disciplines. One engine. Built for organizations where the quality of the conversation determines the outcome.

The Team

What Happens in the Room. And What Happens After.

McMullen Group was built on a simple observation: most organizations train their people and then wonder why nothing changed. Terry McMullen changes how people communicate in high-stakes moments. Amy Meyer ensures those changes take root in how people actually work. Together, that is a complete solution.

Terrence McMullen

Co-Founder

Terrence McMullen has spent his career at the intersection of human behavior and business, studying why people make the decisions they do, what actually motivates them, and how communication either builds trust or breaks it.

With an MBA from Harvard and years leading corporate strategy at IBM, he has seen firsthand how the best products, the best teams, and the best ideas can still fall flat when the communication is not right. He also spent time at Harvard Business School researching the psychological drivers of motivation and courage, and facilitated dialogue between Israeli and Palestinian families, experiences that fundamentally shaped how he sees human connection.

That combination is why organizations like Marriott, LinkedIn, Goldman Sachs, and the U.S. Air Force trust Terrence to work with their teams. Most organizations don't lose because of their product. They lose because of how they communicate. His job is to close that gap.

Amy Meyer

Co-Founder

Amy Meyer built her career inside two of the most demanding proving grounds in business: IBM Global Business Services, where she rose to Associate Partner advising Fortune 500 leadership teams and managing a $4 million annual book of business, and Citizens Bank, where as a Senior Vice President she led change management for some of the largest workforce transformations in banking.

Her specialty is the question every leader asks after the workshop ends: why isn't anyone doing anything differently yet? When Citizens entered the generative AI era, she built its adoption and change strategy from scratch, including the trust, governance, and frontline readiness that determine whether AI investments pay off or stall.

At McMullen Group, Amy ensures that what happens in the room becomes what happens in your business: embedded in real workflows, reinforced by leaders, and measured until behavior actually changes.
